About Eric
I am the first born
of two dedicated parents, who taught their children the value of faith
in God, country and family.
Growing up on Mackinac Island, I learned firsthand the importance of
community involvement. My father, a former drill sergeant, also taught
me the importance of hard work and personal integrity.
Having put myself through Michigan State University and later, the
University of Arkansas School of Law, I understand the value in earning
your way. Throughout that time I worked in jobs that ranged from
construction to waiting tables, laundry worker to law clerk.
My wife, Jill, and I, along with our boys Brevin and Piper, make our
home in St. Louis. Gratiot County is a very special place in the heart
of Michigan and we are proud to call it home. It is a place where
people, strong ethics and values still matter. It is these values that I
intend to bring to the bench of the Gratiot County District Court.
You can count on me to run the Gratiot County District Court fairly and
with impartiality towards all. If you have any questions about my
experience or my positions on the issues, I would welcome the
opportunity to talk with you.
I look forward to earning your vote and serving the people of Gratiot
County.
